Home Delivered Meals:

Our hot, nutritious meals are delivered right to your doorstep “In Home Service with a Smile.” At the same time you are also receiving a wellness check. This alone can bring many families peace of mind. Seniors 60 years and older, with a doctor’s referral, qualify for meals on a contribution basis. Those under the age of 60 may qualify for meals at full price.

Daily hot meals are delivered in Adel, Dawson, Dallas Center, DeSoto, Minburn, Perry, Van Meter, and Waukee. All other towns in Dallas County are delivered weekly, providing 5 frozen meals along with the hot meal of the day.

Congregate Meal Sites:

Meals are served at 11:30am Monday through Friday at all locations. A 24 hour advance reservation is required and can be made by calling the numbers below for each meal site. Hot, nutritious meals are provided at meal sites in:

Frozen Meals:

Frozen meals are packaged 5 per case and are available to all clients wishing to receive them. The frozen meal program is a great alternative for those towns and hard to reach rural areas, when meals are not available for the daily delivery. All frozen meals also meet the Dietary Required Intake for seniors 60 and older

Application

HomeCare Services Inc., depends on subsidies from various waiver programs and donations in order to continue services to those who are without the ability to
cover the costs of services, or to supplement other funding. We thank all who assist in helping us continue services to others.
